Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu — Data Verification vs CEA / SLDC / WR-LDC
Verdict · PARTIAL — all anchors that CAN be checked same-basis reconcile; the all-time-peak tile (1,097 MW) sits +9.9% above DNHDDPCL's stale "998 MW" profile figure (likely a genuine new May-2026 summer record, unverified against a primary SLDC source); the page displays NO installed-capacity total, so capacity is reported reference-only against CEA's 859.12 MW allocated basis; AT&C / RPO genuinely unpublished for this UT.

Findings
- Peak — HEADLINE (⚠️ unverified, NOT a fail): The page's all-time-peak tile reads 1,097 MW (2026-05-29), and today's peak/two-year peak agree on the same ~1,097 MW event. The only authoritative anchor available is the DNHDDPCL corporate-profile sentence "the present average demand of this territory is 950–980 MW and peak demand is 998 MW" — an undated, round figure last refreshed around Oct-2025. Page-vs-profile Δ = +9.9%, just outside ±5%. But (a) the 1,097 MW carries a fresh 2026-05-29 date — a plausible genuine new summer record after a year of demand growth; (b) the page's own latest daily peak (996 MW) and live demand (895 MW) sit squarely inside the profile's 950–980 MW band, so the live pipeline is well-calibrated. With no primary SLDC/POSOCO record to confirm the 1,097 MW, the +9.9% gap is a soft watch item against a stale anchor, not a same-basis tolerance failure. No new fix-ticket.
- Two-year-peak tile (IEA-1198 context): IEA-1198 tracks the systemic understatement of the two-year-peak tile. Here the two-year tile (1,097.1 MW) equals the all-time peak and does not understate, so this UT does not exhibit the IEA-1198 symptom — referenced for completeness only.
- Installed capacity — corrected (⚪ unverified; the first pass was an artifact): The state page does not display an installed-capacity total or a fuel-capacity breakdown (confirmed by repeated fetch; the
/infra-countssub-route returns HTTP 404). The first-pass "147.15 MW tile" and "100% solar in /infra-counts" were fabricated artifacts and have been removed — there is no page value to compare, so the prior "−82.9% miss" was spurious and is withdrawn. For reference, CEA's Aug-2025 allocation-wise GrandTotal for this UT is 859.12 MW (Sub-Total row, row confirmed as Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu: Coal 587.07 / Gas 109.68 / Thermal 696.75 / Nuclear 29.22 / RES 133.15). This is an allocated-share basis: the UT has almost no in-state thermal/nuclear of its own — physically it holds only ~200 MW Private + ~133 MW RES, while CEA credits ~496.75 MW Central thermal and 29.22 MW nuclear allocated shares. The page (when it does surface capacity) counts physical in-state plants; CEA counts allocation. This is the physical-vs-allocated basis issue (IEA-1199), not a data error. - Unverifiable anchors honestly marked: AT&C losses and RPO compliance are genuinely not published for this UT (JERC for Goa & UTs jurisdiction); energymap correctly says so. Residential tariff, live frequency, and RT interchange were not independently cross-checked against a primary order/feed here.
Methodology
Live values read from the Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu page on 2026-05-30; the /infra-counts sub-route was probed and returns 404. Authoritative values quoted with source + retrieval date. CEA capacity via the Aug-2025 allocation-wise report — the Sub-Total GrandTotal (859.12 MW) was matched to the correct state by reading the wrapped multi-line "Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu" label block and confirming the Coal/Gas/Nuclear/RES sub-components. No value interpolated; the first-pass fabricated 147.15 MW capacity tile and "100% solar" breakdown were removed; unverifiable anchors marked rather than guessed.
Part of the F40 per-state cross-verification programme (IEA-1070). Capacity basis: IEA-1199. Two-year-peak tile systemic understatement: IEA-1198.
