Findings

  • Headline peak reconciles (−0.94%, PASS). The page's all-time peak field reads 14,524 MW dated "July 31, 2024," against the authoritative CEA/CEIC all-time record of ~14,662 MW (Jul 2024). That is a −0.94% delta — comfortably inside the ±5% tolerance. (First-pass artifact corrected: the prior draft headlined a −46.8% "failure" by comparing the page's two-year-peak tile (7,803 MW) against the all-time record. Those are different fields; comparing all-time vs all-time is the correct headline test, and it passes.)

  • Two-year-peak tile understates (IEA-1198), noted separately — not the headline. The "two-year peak" tile reads 7,803.4 MW dated "May 29, 2026." A genuine two-year peak should be at least the FY24 record level (~14.5–14.7 GW), so the tile understates by roughly half. This is the known systemic two-year-peak tile defect tracked under IEA-1198 — no new ticket. The page's own all-time-peak field is correct, confirming the underlying record data is sound and the defect is isolated to the two-year tile's windowing logic.

  • Installed capacity is a basis difference, not a tolerance failure (IEA-1199). The live Haryana page does not surface a total installed-capacity figure (the infra/satellite panel did not load a numeric total on retrieval, and there is no allocation-wise capacity tile). The prior draft's "8,811.8 MW displayed" could not be re-confirmed against the live page and has been removed rather than asserted (HARD RULE: no fabrication). The CEA Aug-2025 allocation-wise GrandTotal for Haryana — the Sub-Total row's last column — is 14,409.10 MW (Coal 8,638.38 · Gas 581.59 · Nuclear 123.04 · Hydro 2,449.73 · RES 2,616.36 MW). That row was verified to belong to Haryana (State 2,929.30 + Private 7,642.84 + Central 3,836.96 = 14,409.10). The allocation-wise basis counts Haryana's allocated share of central/joint-sector plants (physically outside the state), whereas a page-displayed in-state figure would count only plants physically sited in Haryana. These are different bases — the physical-vs-allocated issue tracked under IEA-1199, not a data error. Because the page exposes no same-basis number to compare, this anchor is marked basis-only / unverified, not a failure.

  • Tariff / RPO / AT&C / interchange unverified. These four anchors could not be cross-checked against a retrievable authoritative document within this pass (HERC / PFC / NR-LDC pages not fetched), so they are honestly marked unverified rather than asserted.

Methodology

Live values read from the Haryana page on 2026-05-30; authoritative values quoted with source + retrieval date. All-time peak record cross-checked against CEIC/CEA (~14,662 MW, Jul 2024). CEA capacity via the Aug-2025 allocation-wise report (Haryana Sub-Total GrandTotal = 14,409.10 MW; row identity confirmed by State/Private/Central decomposition). No value interpolated; figures not retrievable within this pass are marked unverified.

Part of the F40 per-state cross-verification programme (IEA-1070). Basis caveats: two-year-peak tile [IEA-1198]; physical-vs-allocated capacity [IEA-1199].
