Daily actual generation, plant by plant, compiled from the National Power Portal daily generation reports. 278 plants are tracked, covering the large thermal, hydro and nuclear fleet. This is the dataset behind plant-level utilisation and outage analysis: it shows which units ran, at what output, day by day.
This dataset is part of the Fuel mix and generation family: 2,94,63,220 rows across 2018–2026, latest day 2 Oct 2026, 35 states and UTs, hourly cadence. Counts are computed from the production database and refresh daily.
